9 month old grizzle puppy, pleasing moderately broad head with well set ears and dark eye. Short strong muzzle. Good lay of shoulder, ribs carried well back. Easily spannable, good coat and undercoat and thick pelt. Moved well with drive. BPD, RBPIS
2nd - Brumberhill Barnaby (Mr P Armstrong)
Another nice puppy, blue and tan, just six months old. Correct proportions typical head with good dark eye and strong jaw with good bite. Good angulation front and rear. Was a bit shy today but moved well

a lot to like about this 9 month old grizzle and tan puppy. Stood alone but worthy winner. Good overall shape. Well proportioned moderately broad head, well set ears and dark keen eye. Good neck into well laid shoulders, ribs carried well back. Strong loin. Good coat and pelt. Moved OK but today in the challenge for BPD preferred the movement of MPD winner.

13 month old grizzle dog, maturing well. Good head with keen expression short strong muzzle. Good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm giving good reach of neck. Good length to body with ribs carried well back. Harsh coat and thick undercoat and good pelt. Moved well.
2nd - Billy Boy Mayhem (Mr C Foreman & Miss L Keenan)
Well matured boy with lovely grizzle coat thick pelt. Good head proportions. Slightly thicker set than the class winner but again good angles. Good length to rib and strong over the loin. Just preferred the movement of the class winner today as he tended to throw his backend.

Lots to like about this young dog. Well constructed with pleasing correctly proportioned head and short strong muzzle. Well placed ears, dark eye and keen expression. Ribs carried well back and strong over loin. Good harsh coat and thick undercoat and pelt. Moved well.
2nd - Akenside Graphite (Mrs J Collis)
Blue and Tan boy. Nice head and expression maybe a bit short in upper arm. Shown in good coat but carrying a bit much weight.

well presented blue and tan dog of correct proportions. Good length with ribs carried well back. Firm over the loin. Pleasing head with dark eye and keen expression, short muzzle. Good coat and pelt. Moved out well.

Grizzle and tan dog with good lay of shoulder. Head of correct proportions and well placed ears and keen dark eye. Presented in good coat with decent pelt . Just preferred the movement of the class winner today.

Blue and tan dog well angled front and rear. Good head, short strong muzzle. Harsh coat and correct undercoat. Thick pelt. Lost out to winner today on movement.

I Judged this boy as a Junior, liked him then and he did not disappoint today! So well balanced and not overdone in any way. Pleasing well proportioned head, moderately broad with well set ears and dark eyes giving a keen, alert expression. Short strong muzzle, moderate neck into well laid shoulders. Ribs carried well back, strong over the loin. Well let down hocks and good width of second thigh. Presented with harsh coat and has good, thick pelt. Stood four square moved straight and true front and back, keeping lovely topline on the move. Pleased to award BD and BIS
2nd - Thornheswin Ring Of Fire (Mr J C Dixon)
another nice grizzle boy a bit out of coat today but evidence of harsh coat coming through and thick undercoat with good thick pelt. Another pleasing outline. Good length to back, nice racy quarters. Typical head of correct proportions. Strong muzzle. Moved OK. Pleased to award RBD

at 8 and a half months maturing well. Lovely feminine head super dark eye and pigmentation, strong muzzle and big teeth. Correct lay of shoulder giving correct length of neck, well bodied with good length to back. Strong over the loin. Super harsh coat. Moved well.

Blue and tan just over 9 months old. Another pleasing puppy. Good head and expression just preferred the topline and movement of the class winner today

Another nice bitch. Similar remarks apply but just felt that her muzzle was slightly longer than the class winner and preferred the winners topline. Good harsh coat with correct undercoat and good pelt

another nice grizzle bitch but had to mark down today as out of coat. Lovely head and expression, good depth of chest and length to rib. Strong loin good pelt.

well proportioned blue and tan bitch. Very feminine she took the ring! Lovely head sufficiently broad with correctly placed neat ears and dark eyes. Short strong muzzle. Good neck into well placed shoulders and straight legs, good depth of chest and ribs carried well back. Harsh coat with plenty of undercoat, thick pelt. Good topline and tail set. Moved freely with purpose. Pleased to award her BB, RBIS and BOS

another nice bitch of similar size to class winner. Correct head with dark eye and kind, keen expression. Harsh coat, plenty of undercoat and thick pelt. On the day preferred the angulation of the class winner. Moved well.

Just liked the overall proportions of this grizzle bitch. Everything in the right place but not playing ball with her handler today. Good head with well placed ears carried close to cheek. Short strong jaw good dentition. Good depth of chest and well balanced angles, ribs carried well back strong over loin. Coat harsh with plenty of undercoat. Good topline and tailset. A bit dour but moved straight and true.

Have judged this boy a couple of times before and thought highly of him then. At 10 years old his overall condition and presentation belies his age. Well made grizzle boy.
Lovely head and expression. Moderately broad head with well set small ears and keen dark eye. Short strong muzzle. Good angles front and rear. Level topline with well set tail. Good harsh coat and thick pelt. Moved straight and true. Challenged hard for RBD BVIS
2nd - Chorbeck Chatty Man JW ShCM (Mrs H Haughton)
Almost 9 years old well made grizzle boy, again in fine condition for his age. Much the same comments apply as to the class winner. Just felt that on the day the class winner showed himself better. Could change places on a different day.
