Since I last judged the breed I do feel movement is a concern. A lot of back ends need to strengthen and capabilities to follow a horse were not always there today. I was however extremely pleased with my main winners who were from the ‘top drawer’ and so very typical of the breed.

A very promising youngster. Broad skull and strong muzzle, dark eye. Gave a superb outline both standing and on the move. Enough jacket and pelt. Easily spanned and good size. Will watch this young man with interest, pleased to award RCC & BP.

Lovely head and expression, dark eye and small ears. Good length of neck, shoulders and topline. Harsh coat, good pelt. Tail nice length and carried well.

Good head and skull, dark eye and nose. Nice big teeth. Preferred overall package of 1 today.

A super dog who I thought fitted every part of the standard. Not over done in anyway and handled sympathetically, got the best out the dog. Gorgeous head, skull broad, ears small and well set. Strong muzzle, big teeth. Lovely depth of chest, good size. Harsh coat. Held topline both standing and on the move. Excelled in movement, so very sound. Extremely pleased to award CC.
