Show Type: Breed
Judge: Mrs. Karen Dean (Tyrian)
I would first like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge, and to them and my stewards, Frank Nicholls and Paul Cheeseman for looking after me so well on the day, and lastly to all those who exhibited and accepted my decisions so graciously. It was a long, exhausting but very enjoyable day for me. I absolutely loved my best dog, best bitch and best puppy, they were all lovely and narrow, well balanced with small tight feet, sound movement and not overdone in any way. I would take any of them home in a heartbeat.

1st - Comberdown Jailbreak To Vandamere (Mr I & Mrs A Higham)
8 months old, upstanding narrow dog, nice head with good bite and strong muzzle for his age. Straight, narrow front with tight feet. Nice flow from neck into topline and good tailset. Super dense harsh coat, well ribbed and angulated.
2nd - Glenbucket Rooney (Mr P & Mrs K Lothian)
6 months old, still very much a baby and it showed, he was a little unsure of himself in the ring. Good head, short muzzle with good bite but preferred the strength of muzzle of 1, smaller in ear, straight front and good thick carrot tail. Movement could improve with the muscle development of maturity. Won over 3 on topline and hind angulation

1st - Foxcraig Magic Aurora (Mr G R Sugars)
10 months old, super dog with a lovely head, very strong muzzle and little stop, ears a bit heavy at the moment but won?t be if he grows into the wrinkles and loose skin on his head. Good shoulders and ribs well laid back, super bone, good harsh dense coat and really thick pelt. Level topline held well on the move. Moved very freely with good reach and drive, covering the ground with ease. I look forward to seeing how this one matures. Best Puppy Dog.

1st - Thorneyburn Hexham Hijinks (Wanless, Mrs. M.J.)
Stood alone in this class, but what a super working bitch. Attractive head with flat skull, muzzle could be stronger, I forgave missing teeth putting it down to her working background. Straight front, level topline, super double coat and loose thick pelt. Lovely short thick carrot tail well set on. Looked stocky due to very thick loose pelt but easily spannable. Hind angulation not the best but moved freely and with good drive, although a little close behind.
