I would like to thank Mr. Lee Cox and the officers and committee of Bath Canine Society for making my wife and I feel so welcome at their show. Also my two amazingly competent stewards Mark and Joyce who were just brilliant at their job.
I found nothing obviously untoward or concerning, apart from, surprisingly, a few too heavy ones, which cost placings. We need to remember functionality.
In general, overall, this was an entry of terrific in-depth quality. What an absolute privilege it was to go over them. Thank you all so much!

What a superb puppy representation of our breed. Grizzle and tan of good size with a harsh coat. He excelled in movement and has good reach of neck, pleasing head and correct bite. Level top-line and high tail set. Narrow all through. A great little prospect. His obvious qualities were further recognised when he went on to win the Terrier Puppy Group and then went Best Puppy In Show.

1st - Stowthorney These Days JW (Mr R Brewster & Ms J Green)
Loved this grizzle bitch. Balanced and sound. She has a lovely outline and nice head. Her coat was full, thick and harsh with a close undercoat. Meets the standard well in every department. She’s narrow and straight. However, it’s her movement. She has that free easy effortless ground covering style of movement with drive, and for me today, this is what made her stand away from all others, a lot of which were superb specimens of our breed. Bitch CC and Best of Breed.
2nd - Howthwaite Gaan Divilish (Mr R J & Mrs E A Barrett)
