All males entire. 3 dogs with level bites, the rest all had good mouths. No kinked tails. Some very nice youngsters in the ring today, a real credit to their breeders.

7mth Liked this puppy a lot, balanced with no exaggeration. Broad skull and strong jaw. Excellent front and rear angulation which a lot of borders lack today. Easy to span with a thick loose pelt and harsh coat. Level topline with ribs well back. Thick well set tail. Moved true coming and going, pleased to award him best puppy in show.
2nd - Southash Smurfski Cervelo Blue (Mrs I Southam)
7 mth unlucky to come up against the winner today as this puppy has a lot of promise also. Blue with ticking coming through. Pleasing otter head. Span , pelt and coat all good. Front and rear angles very good. Top line level with well set tail but he didn’t want to use it today. Ok coming and going.

very nice puppy, unfortunately unable to assess his movement today as he was just too happy to be in the ring.

11mth. Hearvier type of puppy, well up on leg. Broad skull, long in muzzle. Just spannable. Pelt and coat ok. Moved straight coming and going.

1st - Tulawyn Garretson by Onthill (Mr R & Mrs A Ramus)
14mth. Owned the ring when he came in. Balanced from front to rear. Masculine otter head, alert expression. Straight front with very good angles front and rear which gave him free flowing movement with drive. Easy to span with a thick loose pelt but lacked a bit of coat today. Lovely length of rib. Top line firm leading to well set carrot tail carried well on the move. Gives the impression he could just go all day. Very pleased to award him best in show, a youngster to watch for.
2nd - Cobstoneway Stand By Me JW (Mrs G Stevens)
17mth another very good male. Shown in full coat with thick pelt and spannable. Excellent head and expression, straight front, good angles front and rear with a good width of thigh. Ribs well back. Shown in hard working condition.

16mth strong head, shown in full coat, loose pelt, straight front, moved ok. Not happy today so unable to carry out a full assessment.

3yr nice flat broad skull with good width of muzzle. Firm topline with well set tail, narrow front, a tad deep in chest, ribs well back, angels front and rear ok, nice width of thigh. Shown in excellent coat with thick loose pelt.
2nd - Oxcroft Loganberry (Mr J Price)
4yr broad skull, sufficient muzzle. Narrow in front with good length of rib. In harsh full coat with correct ticking, thick loose pelt, spannable. Moved ok.

4yr strong otter head. Balanced overall. Correct angles front and rear, narrow in front, strong topline leading to well set tail carried well on the move. Spannable with thick loose pelt and harsh coat. Moved true coming and going.
2nd - Lynsett Lewis (Mr P Armstrong)
6yr eye catching blue with correct ticking, masculine head. Good rear angle with great width of thigh, front angles ok. Firm top lie with very nice carrot tail. Excellent harsh coat, spannable. Moved true going away but a bit untidy coming on the day.

7yr liked this dog a lot, pushed hard for Best of breed. Flat broad skull and strong muzzle. Good reach of neck into firm level topline. Slightly steep in upper arm, good rear angles. Easy to span, harsh coat, loose pelt. Moved out with purpose. Pleased to award him Reserve best dog and Reserve Best of Breed.
2nd - Chatmoss Bullet Tooth Tony JW (Miss J Hughes)
This dog had most of the attributes of the winner and presents a pleasing picture but unfortunately moved a bit uneven on the day.

7 mth very promising young bitch. Ticking coming through very well. Balanced throughout. Strong but feminine head, alert expression. Straight narrow front, ribs well back. Easy to span, loose pelt with harsh coat. Very good angles front and rear and great width of thigh, moved true coming and going. One to watch out for. Just tiring a bit in the challenge for best puppy. Best puppy bitch.

7th another nice blue, well balanced, easy to span, good length of rib, angles ok, straight front. Thick pelt , harsh coat. Moved true.

3yr more compact type of bitch than 1st place but still of good quality. Well muscled but feminine. Good head. Angles ok. Just spannable with thick loose pelt , shown in excellent coat.

5yr. All the attributes of number one. This bitch had a stronger head but a bit less reach and drive on the move.
