1st - Earthtaw Keep Smiling (Miss J A & Mr M W Haydon & Gibbings)
Quality blue puppy of only 6 months with racy body, good outline standing, typical Border head of correct strength. Lovel dark eye and good mouth. Needs time to strengthen in muscle which hopefully will improve movement, inclined to crab when moving today. Shown in good coat of correct texture.

1st - Onthill One and Only (Mr R & Mrs A Ramus)
Very nice type of mature 10 month puppy, nice head with correct dark eye, well made body, good front and quarters moved better than some, liked his topline, outline and overall balance, in good coat and show well.
2nd - Brookbeech Wild Boy (Mr P Shephard)
Attractive puppy whose outline looked good standing, Ok for head, lovely dark eye, ears on the big side, good hindquarters, would like a better set on tail and another in very good coat.

1st - Dallas Dhu by Onthill (Mr R & Mrs A Ramus)
Liked his head but again spoilt for me by a large ear. Very well made body and particularly good in front, one of the few youngsters who moved well which is why he won the class although coat not at its best.
2nd - Bohamer Blue Storm (Mr A & Mrs J Rock)
Very showy for a Border and a better size for me than some, generally good type except again rather large ear, front movement let him down and coast not quite grown in.
3rd - Torryburn Schiehallon (Miss J Aldis)

1st - Glebeheath Just a Gigolo (Mrs J Guvercin)
Loved this one for his type and quality, looks wonderful standing, attractive head, correct for eye and mouth, superb front assembly, one of the few who is capable of reach in front, OK behind but lacks a little bit of drive moving to be picky, preferred the cc winner on this point, beautiful dog rcc.
2nd - Torryburn Allegro (Miss J Aldis)
Liked the size of this dog who has a lovely head and eye giving him that quality look, not the movement of winner, good in front but straight behind, shown in lovely coat.
3rd - Rock Sam At Raisbeck (Mrs G Hyslop)

1st - Glen Mara Oh Viedo At Kersfell (Mrs M Sneddon)
Liked the size of this dog, I find some of the Borders very big, partly through length of leg, this one is balanced in length of back and leg, head OK, lovely dark eye and good mouth, shown in good coat, preferred the movement of this one.
2nd - Baillieswells Ncn'ean (Miss T J Peacock)
A bit unruly this lad playing his handler up, didn’t care for his movement but some of this may be due to the above, liked his width of skull but a tad weak in the muzzle, good eye and mouth and shown in good coat.

2nd - Eneonith Marbles (Miss J Burrell)
Very attractive type and racy looking, had a straight front but general movement poor, lacking reach and drive, nice head though a bit weak in muzzle, in lovely coat.

Very attractive dog typical of this kennel, lovely size, head, mouth, eye and expression, not the best of toplines but moved well and shown in good coat.
2nd - Cedarhill Authorisation (Mrs J Alpe)
Very nice type of dog with lovely head, but would like a smaller ear, lost to winner on his front movement but is excellent behind, another quality dog in good coat.

1st - CH/Ger/NL CH Brackenfell Bok To Bach JW WW17/18 (Mr C Hall & Miss L Ellis)
Love this one, really fills the eye, he is a most attractive 6 year old red in full maturity. Last time I judged him I made him Best Puppy and certainly doesn’t disappoint as an adult. My notes say “ ear a little big, but the rest superb, love him” Love his movement, his balance and his general outline, being not overdone in ribs or any where else. Wish they all moved with this effortless reach and drive. Cc and BOB.
2nd - Clipstone Starshine (Miss E & Mrs J Jackson)
Lovely dog for size, very nice head, his topline and movement let him down but very attractive and also 6 years old, liked his expression, so typically Border.

1st - Borderstream Zodiak (Mr & Mrs S Ward)
Lovely size of dog with racy outline, not the best in front but good behind, attractive head, good eye in colour and shape, would have liked him to show a little more enthusiasm for the task, lovely coat of correct texture.
2nd - Brewbrads Tricky Trickster (Miss V Bradley)
This blue is a little big for me, OK head, nice eye and expression, topline poor, good hindquarters and shown in lovely coat, nice typical Border temperament.

1st - Ravenside Marsha At Jordith (Mrs L.M.I & Mr A.M. Jordan-Smith)
Attractive girl, very typey with pretty head, dark eye of correct size, looked good in profile, nice length of neck, level topline, shown in good coat, a shade heavy in rib but a lovely size.
2nd - Thistlemead Starlight (Mrs P M Heeley)
This one had good head proportions and dark eye but ears on the big size, good in front, topline OK, rather too long in hocks, however moved quite well.

1st - Int/Am/Can CH Sulan Fancy That (Mrs S J Baxter)
Wonderful 12 year old, so fit with more personality than some of the younger ones, still holds a good topline, nice head, good in outline, excellent coat, quality bitch who moved well and with so much vigour. Obviously loved her day out.
2nd - Benattivo Abiba For Abisu (Miss S M Moseley)
Nine year old blue, with nice had proportions, dark eye and looked good in outline, moved quite well both ways, shown in good coat, but outshone by the quality and personality of the winner.
3rd - Pops Blackcurrant Fizz (Mrs H J Cobby)

1st - Dandyhow Pandora (Mrs K Irving)
A real showgirl for a Border, loved her general type, nice head for age, correct for eye and expression, looked very attractive standing well, well made body, good hind action, not too bad in front though could throw one front leg at times, may improve with age and maturity, shown in lovely coat. Her personality won the day, BP.
2nd - Southash Kiss Me Kate (Mr J & Mrs I M Southam)
Very similar in type to winner but lacked the amination and sparkle in the eye, good for head, eye shape and colour, nice length of neck and topline, lovely size for age, did just enough.

2nd - Earthtaw Kafir Lily (Miss J A & Mr M W V Haydon & Gibbings)

Really liked this bitch, did consider for rcc but still needs a bit more maturity, beautiful head and expression, correct front assembly, well made body, good for length of neck and topline, a shade big for me but one of the few who excelled in movement, shown in great coat.
2nd - Awbrooksky Margot Robbie (Mr R & Miss L Goddard)
Another lovely bitch, this was a really good class, preferred the size of this one but not quite the strength of head, particularly in muzzle, correctly made and looked really nice in profile, moved well, in good coat.

1st - Gameway French Fancy Avec Orangebox (Mr M & Mrs T Anscombe)
Lovely head on this girl, correct for proportions, eyes dark and full of expression, she looked better standing with her correct Border outline, but would like more angulation behind and tail a tad low set. Good coast but only just holding in.
2nd - Goxfell Reivers Rose (Mrs J Stamp & Mr D Joyce)
Loved her coat and colour – a proper blue and tan – attractive girl, but not so good on the move, good Border outline and OK head, ear rather big and not the expression of winner.

1st - Glebeheath Fingers On Lips (Mrs J Guvercin)
This was the best class of the day, although different types it was close between the first and second. Thought this girl looked stunning today, full of quality and attitude, well made through out, good front and hind quarters which were not overdone in any way, like the male winner moved superbly, in great coat, nice for size, loved her, cc.
2nd - Mansergh Paint By Numbers (Miss A Roslin Williams)
Though different in type found this one very attractive, good for head and expression – shouted Border to me – lovely outline standing and well made so moved extremely well. Coat good but on the day not quite filling my eye as much as the winner, rcc.

1st - Fehmarn Moelwynbach (Mrs J Morton Shaw)
A good bitch with attractive head, excellent behind but could go a shade wide in front. Liked her outline standing and appealed in many ways but not quite the shining quality of the limit bitch girls, a little heavy in coat.
2nd - CH Cobstoneway Love Song JW ShCM (Mrs G Stevens)
In better coat than the winner but would like better movement back and front, attractive head with dark eye and typical Border expression, excellent topline and racy outline.
3rd - Badgerbeck Cha Cha Cha at Roxambor (Mr B J & Mrs A E Read)
