I would like to take this opportunity to thank the committee and members for inviting me to judge your club show. Thank you to the exhibitors for allowing me to judge your dogs and taking my decisions gracefully. I was pleased to find so many dogs presented in full double coat which showed in my main winners. Overall I was happy with the quality on the day.

Blue and Tan dog still a pup nice stamp of dog. My notes say a good old fashioned border that is just maturing up, I’m sure he will mature nicely, I just hope he doesn’t grow on anymore.

1st - Onthill Super Trouper (Mr R & Mrs A M Ramus)
8 year old Grizzle and Tan dog that I couldn’t take my eyes off from the moment he entered the ring, he is one I’ve admired in his youth and I was delighted he was not a disappointment to go over. He has a good typical head with big teeth and correct bite with neat ears, good reach of neck flowing into clean shoulders, narrow front and narrow throughout, easily spanned, good length of rib, shown and presented in the best of coats with excellent pelt. Well angulated behind, neat cat like feet, lovely carrot shape tail, he is beautifully put together which shows in his effortless movement around the ring. To top it off he was in fit hard condition not showing his age one bit, could not deny the super dog Best Dog and Best In Show.
