Thank you to all exhibitors for providing me with a lovely entry to go over. I found a depth of quality in each class with some close decisions to make. Very pleased that my Best of Breed, Best Puppy and Best Veteran went on to do well in their respective groups – well done.

1st - Remony For A' That (Mrs A E Gregory)
7 months dark grizzle, built on narrow lines. Nice in head with dark eye, good mouth and strong jaw. Good reach of neck, straight front, nice length of body with ribs carried back. Has a good harsh double coat and loose pelt. Tight well padded feet on which he moved well on a loose lead.
2nd - Otterpaws Mountain High (Mr & Mrs G Birrell)
6 months grizzle, well proportioned head, short strong muzzle with nice eye and ear placement. Ok for size and is easily spanned. Nice texture of coat. Moved ok for age.

Promising 11 month grizzle who was well presented. Has a typical well proportioned masculine head with nice expression. Straight front, nice length of body with good front and rear angulations. Harsh coat and loose pelt. Moved well. Just had edge on maturity over 2nd placed.

A well presented light grizzle, ideal for size and balance. A super otter like head with a dark eye and well placed ear. Narrow throughout, correct front and rear angulations. Carroty tail well set on. Good double jacket. Moved very soundly on tight feet.
2nd - Achnagairn Baily Sweet (Mrs M Winder)
Masculine head with strong muzzle and typical expression. Good reach of neck, straight front, nice length of body with ribs carried back. Shown in good harsh coat with loose pelt. Well muscled and moved well.

Grizzle of 16 months. Typical head with strong muzzle, flat skull. Overall balance is good, straight front and is easily spanned. Short carroty tail. Tight coat on loose pelt. Moved well with good reach of stride.
2nd - Westbound Dan (Mr D Hill)
Strong masculine head and expression with good mouth. Dark grizzle harsh dense coat on loose pelt. Racy quarters with well set down hocks. Moved well round ring just needs to tighten up in front.

This one has matured into a very nice dog. Typical head and keen expression. Well balanced body, straight front, good length of rib, easily spanned. Good topline and tailset. Very sound movement on tight feet. Good harsh double jacket. Reserve CC.
2nd - Lairehope Duke Diamante (Mr P & Mrs K Lothian)
Litter brother to 1 and similar comments apply, slightly straighter in stifle. Typical head and expression. Good coat and pelt. In good condition and moved well for his young handler.

Very typical dog of this kennel, he has a masculine head with strong jaw, well placed eye and ear. Not overdone in any way being balanced throughout. Good front and rear angulations, firm body, well muscled. Nice tight coat on a loose pelt. Sound movement.

Good for size and balance, otter like head with nice placed eye and ear. Well constructed front and rear, level topline and flat rib. Nice carroty tail. Well presented in tight harsh coat and has confident sound movement.

Beautifully presented grizzle who is ideal for size and balance, he has a lovely otter like head with nice eye and ear giving a nice border expression. Good shoulder placement, straight front and well placed rib being easily spanned. Harsh double jacket, carroty tail well set on. Well angulated rear, has the soundest of movement. Pleased to award the Dog CC which I later learned was his 3rd – well done.

Mature blue and tan with masculine head, strong jaw. Has a moderate neck into nice topline, straight front. Built on narrow lines, well muscled and very fit. Short carroty tail. Another who has sound movement.

A worthy champion, typical in head with strong foreface, broad skull. Excellent make and shape, good angulations. Coat is of a good texture on a loose pelt. Moved well with drive from well muscled quarters.

Another nice baby pup, grizzle built on same narrow lines as 1. Nice head and expression. Moderate neck, good length of body, nice tail and set on. Moved with ease.

Liked her overall size and balance, this grizzle of 2 ½ years has a typical feminine head, short strong muzzle, well placed eye and ear. Moderate neck into well placed shoulders, straight front, level topline, racy rear with low set hocks. Moved out well both ways. Tight harsh double jacket. Certainly caught my eye in the class and the bitch line up and was pleased to award her the Reserve CC.

Well muscled and racy rear. Soundest of movement on tight feet. Pleased to award her the CC, her 3rd and crowning –well done, and BOB.
