The NBTC held an open show at Belmont on 10/04/10 which I was very honoured to judge and would like to thank the club for the invitation.I would also like to thank my stewards and the exhibitors for their entries and accepting my decisions.I was very pleased with all my winners and had a very enjoyable day.

Minor Puppy – Dog Entries: 3 Absentees: 1 1st: Karison Kumphrey (Miss K Johnson) Blue and tan,just 6 months, liked his racy outline,correct mouth with large teeth, loved his head and expression. 2nd: When I was in the Band (Atkinson & Young) Smart puppy, moved well but not the outline of one. h3. Puppy – Dog Entries: 2 Absentees: 1 1st: Ragatam Lets Go (Miss T Peacock) stood alone, good head with small neat ears, narrow body, well ribbed back, easy to span, good shoulder placement, well muscled, moved well.BPD,RBPIS. h3. Junior – Dog Entries: 8 Absentees: 4 1st: Solitary Mist (Mr D & Mrs C Hodgson) strong masculine head with large teeth, thick harsh coat, liked him for size, good angulation, moved well with drive if a bit unenthusiastic. 2nd: Iacheslei Cantus JW (Miss A Harrison) another nice dog, close decision, balanced outline, good angulations, also moving well. 3rd: Nickeltweed Lets Go Joe (Mr A & Mrs N Harris) Res: Tyneaster Ancnoc Brom (Mrs S F Gill) h3. Post Graduate – Dog Entries: 13 Absentees: 3 1st: Stoneygin Jacksson at Nickeltweed (Mrs N J & Mr A P Harris) Very good head and expression with dark eye,beautiful dense jacket with thick pelt, tail well set on, good bend of stifle, moved true with plenty of drive. 2nd: Buck Swifter (Mrs A Swindle) another nice dog, racy, good outline and topline. 3rd: Leppington Leonardo (Mrs Pinsdale) Res: Vallemoss Voodoo At Roxess (Mr J T & Mrs N Todd) h3. Limit – Dog Entries: 11 Absentees: 4 1st: Ravenside Ballymoss (Mr M Lowry) good size, plenty of harsh coat on a thick pelt, very good topline and tailset, small tight feet, good bone, broad skull with strong underjaw, narrow all through with a good rib, nice shoulder allowing him to move well with plenty of reach, well presented. Open – Dog Entries: 7 Absentees: 3 1st: CH Vandamere’s Secret Agent JW (Mrs D Phillips) in hard condition, super thick jacket with loose pelt, short carroty tail well set on, narrow front with good angulation, moved out well.RBD. 2nd: Dugaden Tusker ShCM (Mr C & Mrs J Martin) harsh blue jacket, nice outline, moved with drive keeping his topline. 3rd: Foxcraig Magician (Mr G Sugars) Res: Breconbeds Paddywack (Mrs P McLellan) h3. Minor Puppy – Bitch Entries: 6 Absentees: 1 1st: Howthwaite in Violet (Mr R and Mrs E Barrett) quality puppy with harsh blue coat on a really thick pelt, nice head with a strong muzzle and good eye and expression, neat ears, good shoulders and bend of stifle, covered the ground really well holding her topline, pleased to award her BPIS. 2nd: Grettacs One and Only (Mr D Scattergood & Ms L Headley) another smart puppy pushed 1 hard, pretty feminine head , plenty of thick harsh coat, narrow all through, moved well when settled, not giving her handler an easy time today. 3rd: Karison Kamomile (Miss K Johnson) Res: Seymours Bubble and Squeak for Ralenrio (Mr D J & Mrs D A Lorraine) h3. Puppy – Bitch Entries: 6 Absentees: 3 1st: Smalesmouth Maylady (Mrs J Roberts) very narrow and racy, good front and shoulders, good topline and tailset, well ribbed back, liked her expression . 2nd: Hewbay Moonshine (Mr & Mrs Cranson) good mouth and teeth, good topline and tailset, moving well, not the outline of 1. 3rd: Glory Day Dancer (S Davies) h3. Junior – Bitch Entries: 10 Absentees: 3 1st: Stoneygin Dumpledust (Mr G & Mrs D Rayner) headed a nice class, liked her expression and wicked eye, in full coat but still harsh, well constructed underneath with narrow front and rib, tail well set, covering ground well. 2nd: Tyneaster Ancnoc Dara (Mrs S F Gill) smaller bitch, nice balanced outline, well placed shoulders, harsh jacket, good topline and tailset. 3rd: Ragatam Kingsai at Redfox (Mr & Mrs D B Marr) Res: Ravenside Rockfel (Mr A & Mrs H A Fletcher) h3. Maiden – Bitch Entries: 2 Absentees: 1 1st: Carrickfarm Mika (Mrs V M Armstrong) stood alone, excellent pin wire jacket, nice head, good length of back, handy size. h3. Novice – Bitch Entries: 2 Absentees: 0 1st: Smalesmouth Maylady (Mrs J Roberts) 2nd: Red Chance (Atkinson & Young) in full coat, good in head and well constructed. h3. Post Graduate – Bitch Entries: 10 Absentees: 5 1st: Ashbrae Fern (Mr A & Mrs E Cuthbertson) strong head but still feminine, good rib, easy to span, harsh jacket, positive on the move. 2nd: Stineval Celeste at Merumhor (Mr & Mrs C Martin) another with a thick pelt and good coat, narrow and racy, good shoulder placement allowing her to stride out. 3rd: Rexlands Golden Plover by Karison JW (Miss K & Mrs D Johnson & Pearson) Res: Vallemoss Matilda May (Mr A & Mrs H A Fletcher) h3.
