1st - Brackenfell Born To Be Alive (Mr I Single)
Appealed from the start for his balance, topline and clean scopey stride. His handler is a newcomer and can learn to make the most of him. Excellent size, coat, narrow through the rib and with a good head and eye. Appealed a lot for type. Best Puppy and later Puppy Group 3.
2nd - Dandyhow Captain Morgan (Mrs K Irving)
Quality puppy with excellent movement and carriage, shown in good coat. Good skull, eye and ear. Correct in bone and feet.
3rd - Fisherbloom Kiss My Class (Miss G Adams)

1st - Brackenfell Rock The Boat For Vandamere (Mr S Pollit)
Litter brother to winner of previous class – a little heavier in type. He has an excellent skull and strong muzzle. Good coat and thick skin. His tail set is a little low and this detracts from his topline.
2nd - Chorbeck Space Man (Mrs H Haughton)
Bigger dog but spannable and well made throughout with good shoulder and good rear, coat and pelt. I preferred the strength of muzzle of the winner.
3rd - Earthtaw Jasper Carrot At Moleschamber (Ms L Pile)
Res - Borderstream Zodiak (Mr & Mrs S Ward)
VHC - Pherlas Mister Ed (Miss T Peacock & Mr P Young)

1st - Bowencloud Busy Bee JW (Mrs S J Ruth)
16 months, beautifully headed dog with racy outline and quarters. Correct in bone and feet and show in very good coat. Good leg length and proportions. Can firm up a little in front, excellent rear. I liked him a lot.
2nd - Lockhaugh Linx To Grindelvald (Mrs M Bailey)
Looked my winner at first for his size and outline. He was in excellent coat. Good skull but not the foreface of the winner. Needs more confidence in his carriage on the mover where he just loses his topline.
3rd - Tarkaswell Smart Move To Otterwood (Mr M J & Mrs J M Hollingsbee)
Res - Ravenside Le Gourmand (Mr A G & Mrs B A Lattimer)
VHC - Jrasamuyr Codex (Miss C Khatchikian)

1st - Holdenelms Worth The Wait Via Ycart (Mr K K Fraser & Mrs T J Butler)
19 months and needing more density of top coat but he scored heavily in this class for his otter head and good eye, clean outline and good reach and drive on the move.
2nd - Glebeheath Smash N'grab At Jordith (Mrs L.M.I & Mr A.M. Jordan-Smith)
Smaller dog in better coat than the winner but could be stronger in muzzle and firmer in feet and pasterns. Good stride.
3rd - Earthtaw Indiana Jones (Miss J A & Mr M W V Haydon & Gibbings)
Res - Tufterslodge Tea N Cake (Mrs J M Phipps)
VHC - Lynsett Lewis (Mr P Armstrong)

Excellent class for depth of quality
1st - Gameway Mcvitie JW (Mrs P Clark)
Has the look of a real working terrier. In great coat, lithe and spannable, full of breed qualities and a very good head piece. Has scopey clean front action and good rear.
2nd - Tarkaswell Dr Zhivago At Moleschamber ShCM (Ms L Pile)
Unexaggerated, balanced and holding his shape on the move. I liked his head, spannable body and correct bone and feet. Clean stride.
3rd - Brumberhill Back T' Future JW (Mr S A Mcpherson)
Res - Clipstone Starshine (Miss E & Mrs J Jackson)
VHC - Brackenfell Raggamuffin (Mr C Hall & Miss L Ellis)

Excellent class full of quality.
1st - Baillieswells Glengyle At Glebeheath JW (Mrs J Guvercin)
Took my eye on the first circuit of the class with his clean stride and firm outline. On the table he appealed in his construction at both ends, spannable body and correct bone and feet. A good head, but his eye set could be better, great coat and excellent tail and carriage. DCC, BOB and later Group 2.
2nd - CH/Ger CH Brackenfell Bok To Bach JW (Mr C Hall & Miss L Ellis)
A model for breed type and he has had several good wins under me including his recent German Winners Title. Unbeatable in head but couldn’t match the winner on the day in scope and cleanness of front action. Res DCC.
3rd - Dandyhow Galloping Gourmet JW (Mrs K Irving)
Res - CH Tythrop Timepiece (Mrs J L Lee)
VHC - Orangebox Dark Energy (Mr M & Mrs T Anscombe)

1st - CH Cobstoneway River Magic JW ShCM (Miss C Spencer)
8 years old dog of lovely type, beautiful coat and excels in head and eye. Retains a clean front and good action. Just a touch heavy in body on the day and a little lethargic in this class.

Good class – full of promising puppies.
1st - Ragatam Chit Chat (Miss T Peacock)
Blue tan with fantastic coat for texture and density. Forward for her age but feminine with correct bone, spannable and a strong head. Clean and accurate on the move. I’d prefer a slightly better tailset. Best Puppy Bitch.
2nd - Badgerbeck Tiny Dancer At Bluebabel (Mr K P & Mrs N B Yeates)
Blue tan appealed in outline and movement. Good head. Not yet the coat of the winner but pressing hard with her clean body lines.
3rd - Gameway French Fancy Avec Orangebox (Mr M & Mrs T Anscombe)
Res - Cynetkoy Pixie Mix (Mr A Watson & Mrs A Kenna)
VHC - Gene Genie (Mr S A Mcpherson)

Difficult class.
1st - Picer Beth Chatto (Mr G & Mrs S Pickering)
Top sized bitch who is a little heavy in bone but scored with head piece, coat and ultra sound movement. Could be firmer in topline.
2nd - Fisherbloom That's Wot I Like (Miss G Adams)
Lighter framed than the winner but not the strength of foreface yet. Good mover who holds her outline well. Tailset could be better.
3rd - Nottorg Nostalgia (Mrs A Taylor)
Res - Bardenfox Tale as Old as Time (Mr I & Mrs J Broomhead)
VHC - Badgerbeck Tiny Dancer At Bluebabel (Mr K P & Mrs N B Yeates)

1st - Ravenside Calima (Mr M Lowry)
Beautiful blue tan bitch of great type stood out here for her flowing outline, excellent coat and clean action at both ends. Good to go over and little to criticise – very close up in the challenge where she missed on the Res BCC to a bitch who was a little more finished in body.
2nd - Fisherbloom That's Wot I Like (Miss G Adams)
See puppy bitch.
3rd - Marsirdan Jemima Puddle (Mr M Service)
Res - Alcumlow Heather (Mrs C & Mr D Payne)

Unexaggerated and full of type. A workmanlike bitch in very good coat. Very good topline and tail. Scored in shoulder and movement here.
2nd - Wadesleia Lady Madonna Saxheath (Mrs A Heathcote)
21 months, taking this place on ribs, topline and tail. Flat skull and good eye.
3rd - Colourbox Orange Pippin With Swingwing (Mrs G & Mr & Mrs G Cove Print & Fordham)
Res - Picer Angelica to Nottorg ShCM (Mr P & Mrs A Taylor)

1st - Cobstoneway Love Song JW ShCM (Mrs G Stevens)
I liked her enormously for her type all through from her otter head, strong muzzle, excellent coat and tail, carries a firm topline. Very good front action with cleanness and reach. She is a touch close in the rear but I felt her qualities and finish won her Res BCC on the day – her second.
2nd - Alcumlow Miss Teeq (Mr P, Mrs B & Miss R Barber)
Another quality bitch with beautiful flow from neck to shoulder and a very good head. In dense coat of good texture. Not the quarters or front action of the winner.
3rd - Abisu Bramble (Miss S Moseley)
Res - Southash Finding Bliss (Mr J & Mrs I M Southam)
VHC - Brumberhill Miss Dior (Mrs N E Ellis)
Entries: 12 Absentees: 1
Great depth of quality and I had to let go some who have done well under me in the past.
1st - Brankell Double Or Quits JW (Mr P Brannan & Miss M Kelly)
Appealed for her size, proportions and in dense, crisp coat. Beautiful head and eye correct done and feet. Could be a little firmer in her front action, good in the rear.
2nd - Benattivo Fire Flower JW (Mrs S J & Mr C P Girling)
Beautiful bitch, cleaner in front than the winner and excellent narrow body and good movement. Excellent coat. I was just swayed by the head of the winner.
3rd - Cynetkoy Pillow Talk (Mr S D Watson & Mrs A S Kenna)
Loved this bitch for type and movement but sadly lacking topcoat on the day.
Res - CH Ploughdown Persephone (Miss C Spencer)

1st - Beaconpike Night Sky At Brackenfell (Mr C Hall & Miss L Ellis)
7 years old who retains her clean lines and firm topline. Shown in very good coat. Scored in leg length here. Quality head. Good rear action. Best Veteran.
2nd - Baywillow Brown Braid JW ShCM (Mrs G Hyslop)
7 years old who is a little shorter on the leg accentuated by her carrying a little too much weight. Very good head and expression. Cleaner front action than the winner. In good coat.
