It was an honour to be invited to judge this show and I was truly grateful for such a very good entry,
Minor Puppy – Dog

1st: Stineval Chelan (Mr A & Mrs C Horner) A good start to the day when this youngster entered the ring. He has a true otter head, lovely eye and expression correct mouth has a well balanced outline spans easily short coupled with lovely hindquarters enough coat of good texture. Shows well and moves soundly. Obviously needs time but I hope he fulfils his promise.
2nd: Esyntona Rip Van Winkle (Mr I Hopper) More mature b/t than the winner and heavier throughout, he was in super coat and condition attractive head with shallow stop dark eye spans easily with strong coupling showed well has a nice outline standing
3rd: Redfox Watchman (Mr & Mrs D B Marr)

1st: Irton Morse Code (Mr & Mrs D Fryer) a strong headed dog with a correct mouth dark eye true front and spans easily well set tail loose pelt but not in top form today
2nd: Carrock Cragsman (Fawcett) Lovely headed dog quite narrow throughout dark well shaped eye correct mouth lovely condition strong quarters but could be more precise in front
3rd: Fehmarn Highland Encounter (Mrs E J Scott)

1st: Chorbeck Charlie Chaplin (Mrs H Haughton) A good sized dog with an attractive head and eye true front spans ok short coupled in fuller coat kept a good outline moved out well
2nd: Akenside Santavenere Dolabella (Mrs L Gosling) Stronger headed dog who is fairly well constructed did not keep his outline on the move and not the coat of the winner on the day

1st: Terset’s Blue Flame (Mrs P Jackman) An unexaggerated dog of good type I liked his head correct mouth narrow front well placed shoulders nice quarters keeps a good outline pleased with his showmanship
2nd: Ravenside Hurricane Run at Ridgebow (Mr N & Mrs A Duxbury) This youngster was handled to get the best out of him he is a bigger dog yet is balanced lovely coat and condition his front is true both standing and moving
3rd: Chorbeck Charlie Chaplin (Mrs H Haughton)

I liked his head and eye neat ear well placed shoulders easily spans across his ribs good coupling lovely quarters moves soundly and with purpose Reserve Best Dog
2nd: Foxcraig Jester (Mr G Sugars) a touch longer dog of good type he was a little fuller in coat than the winner well balanced head lovely expression good topline well set and used tail moves well behind
