First Place in Open - Bitch, Judge: Lauren Goddard (Awbrooksky)
Thank you to the Midland Border Terrier Club committee for inviting me to judge, and to everyone who entered under me. I thoroughly enjoyed my day.
I was pleased to find no bad mouths or kinks in tails. Slightly concerned about movement throughout. Coats were a mixture, though most had good pelts. The overall size of the dogs were of good standard . I had many lovely dogs to go over, in which a couple of the classes I was splitting hairs between.
RBIS BOS BB 3 year old Grizzle and tan bitch. Lovely strong head giving a typical expression. Strong muzzle . Correct ear set , dark eye and correct scissor bite. Good length of neck leading to correct shoulder. Narrow straight front with small neat feet and thick pads. Although slightly taller, easily spanned. Good topline on the stand and move, well laid back ribs and strong loin. Well angulated on the rear. Good tail set with short carrot tail. Thick loose pelt shown in a harsh double coat. Moved out sound.
