8mth Blue/Tan. Another nice puppy dog. Good head with well shaped eyes & well set ears. Good reach of neck. Balanced angulation all through. Straight well boned legs & tight feet. Narrow all through & easily spanned. Firm topline & well set tail. Best of coats, harsh dense with undercoat. Thick loose pelt. Moved well.

I would like to thank the officers and committee for their kind invitation to judge at this friendly and well-organised show. To all the exhibitors, it was a true honour to assess your wonderful dogs, with many decisions being closely contested. I thoroughly enjoyed my day—thank you. I would also like to thank my hard-working stewards, Julie & Ian, for keeping the day running smoothly.

Promising B&T puppy, just 10 months old, and showing like an old pro. Liked his workmanlike outline and balanced proportions, complemented by a nicely balanced head with strength in the foreface and a dark, inquisitive eye. His neck is of good length, flowing seamlessly into a well-held topline. Displays the desired narrowness along with depth to the brisket. Liked his hindquarters, with good width of thigh and well-let-down hocks. Well presented in a harsh jacket. Though he still needs a little more time to settle into his front movement, he is true from behind and shows drives in profile. – Please to award him BPD & BPIS

I would like to thank the committee of the Sporting Terrier Association of Yorkshire. For inviting me to judge the border terriers. A well run show, with some quality borders terriers to go over, and some lovely up and coming puppies. I would also like to thank the exhibitors for taking the time to bring their dogs under me.

Lovely young dog that caught my eye when entering the ring. Masculine head with correct ears. Correct bite with big teeth. Good reach on neck into shoulder, narrow straight front , neat feet. Well ribbed back , racy hindquarters. Good pelt with harsh jacket. Easy spanned. Good front rear angulation. Moved out both ways with drive holding his top line .pleased to award him best puppy in breed.

Firstly, I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge Border Terriers. I was very pleased with the entry and would like to thank the exhibitors for bringing their dogs, as well as my stewards, who kept everything running smoothly.
Overall, the dogs were presented in good condition. Coats were generally very good, with some approaching the end of their best. Movement was varied, and puppies in the early classes were understandably distracted by activity in the neighbouring ring. All dogs were entire, with no kinks; however, two exhibits were found to have misaligned teeth.
