Movement was difficult to assess under these circumstances, but most dogs seemed to cope remarkably well despite knee high mud & a water logged ring – living proof of the hardiness of the breed! Despite the appalling weather I enjoyed my day with the Borders very much & was impressed with the overall quality of the dogs & the keen sportsmanship of the exhibitors.

blue bitch & quality throughout, very soundly made with good front, perfect body & rear, good coat & best of tails, feminine head with good eye. Ears detract a little from expression & in the challenge refused to show them to advantage & who could blame her as she was standing knee-high in mud! Won the RCC after much deliberation

Another quality bitch, blue and tan with a nice coat and good thick pelt. Otter shaped head good neck carriage into well angulated shoulders. Correct topline and tailset. Another excellent mover.
