I want to thank the West Midland Terrier Society Committee and Officers for inviting me to judge Border Terriers at their prestigious Premier Open Show on Valentines day 2026. I had a lovely day and really enjoyed myself. Very grateful to my stewards that made sure I could fully concentrate on the lovely terriers that were presented to me. This 7 year old grizzle and tan bitch, was well in place showing in the open class. Credit to her owner having her in this condition. Presenting a lovely overall picture. Moderate feminine head with a good eye and keen expression. Well placed ear and complete scissors bite. Moderate neck going over in a level topline and good tail set. Straight front, fitting bone. Small feet and thick pads. Shoulder a little upright. Racy hindquarters. Harsh double coat with dense undercoat. Loose thick pelt. When moving good drive from behind, throws a bit in front.
