First Place in Open - Bitch, Judge: Ben Regeer (Slamdunk)
I want to thank the West Midland Terrier Society Committee and Officers for inviting me to judge Border Terriers at their prestigious Premier Open Show on Valentines day 2026. I had a lovely day and really enjoyed myself. Very grateful to my stewards that made sure I could fully concentrate on the lovely terriers that were presented to me. Thank you to all exhibitors that entered their dogs under me. You all contributed to a great experience for my first UK judging appointment. (Ben Regeer, NL)
This 2,5-year-old grizzle and tan bitch was slightly out of coat today, but I found so much to like on her. She carried a lovely feminine head with keen expression and dark eye. Moderately broad skull which carried small v-shaped ears held close to cheek. Moderate neck went over in a well placed shoulder in balance with her upper arm. Straight front, small feet, thick pads. Good length of rib, strong loin, high placed and carried tail. Racy rear. When I lifted her off the table she felt in good balance and hard condition. Went well on the move.
