First Place in Puppy - Bitch, Judge: Ben Regeer (Slamdunk)
I want to thank the West Midland Terrier Society Committee and Officers for inviting me to judge Border Terriers at their prestigious Premier Open Show on Valentines day 2026. I had a lovely day and really enjoyed myself. Very grateful to my stewards that made sure I could fully concentrate on the lovely terriers that were presented to me. Two days short of 11-months grizzle and tan female who turned out to be my Best of Breed today. Balanced overall picture of moderation and femininity. Lovely feminine head, moderate broad skull with good eye and ear, correct scissors bite. Moderate length of neck going over in a well-placed shoulder, a strong topline and a high set tail. Nice length of body, narrow, ribs well placed back, strong loin. Easily spannable. Balanced angulation with a racy rear. Lovely short harsh double coat, dense undercoat and thick pelt. Tight feet with thick pads. Moved well once settled. Best Bitch and BOB
