First Place in Limit - Dog, Judge: Ben Regeer (Slamdunk)
I want to thank the West Midland Terrier Society Committee and Officers for inviting me to judge Border Terriers at their prestigious Premier Open Show on Valentines day 2026. I had a lovely day and really enjoyed myself. Very grateful to my stewards that made sure I could fully concentrate on the lovely terriers that were presented to me. Thank you to all exhibitors that entered their dogs under me. You all contributed to a great experience for my first UK judging appointment. (Ben Regeer, NL)
Nearly 2.5 years grizzle and tan male who drew my attention with his confident disposition entering his class. A boy of good size and proportion, no exaggeration. Lovely head, v-shaped ears close to cheek, dark eye and good expression. Correct scissors bite. Straight front. Deep narrow body that was easily spannable. Good coat with thick pelt. Moved well coming and going. Held his topline on the move when viewed from the side. Pleased to award him best dog, unfortunately did not see the same ‘look at me sparkle’ in challenge. Best Dog
