First Place in Veteran - Dog or Bitch, Judge: Mrs Katrina Golding (Beaconpike)
Thank you, Terrier Club of South Wales, for the invitation to judge border terriers, I was delighted with my entry of 47. Thank you to my ring steward Tracey Anscombe for keeping the ring running smoothly. I had a lovely day with some lovely dogs to judge.
What a smart 7-year-old G/T who still very much looks like a youngster, just right for size, lovely feminine head with correct bite and dark eye, with an eye-catching expression. Narrow front with correct lay of shoulder, flat rib and good length of body. She was in a quality tight coat with thick pelt, standing on small, neat feet, moved out well holding her topline on the move. Liked her a lot.
