Second Place in Limit - Bitch, Judge: Jane Eyeington (Meadowdale)
I would like to thank the officers and committee for their kind invitation to judge at this friendly and well-organised show. To all the exhibitors, it was a true honour to assess your wonderful dogs, with many decisions being closely contested. I thoroughly enjoyed my day—thank you. I would also like to thank my hard-working stewards, Julie & Ian, for keeping the day running smoothly.
Liked the size and femininity of this 3-year-old grizzle bitch. She has a pretty, otter-like head with good width, neat ears, and strength in the foreface. Her dark eyes are attentive to her handler, creating a keen yet gentle expression. She stands on clean, straight forelegs with tight, neat feet. Her brisket reaches the elbow, and her ribs have just the right spring, making her easy to span. Moderate hindquarter angulation and is short hock-to-heel complete her outline. She moves with purpose, though she loses her topline fractionally at times. She possesses a good, harsh double coat and a thick pelt.
