Second Place in Post Graduate - Bitch, Judge: Jane Eyeington (Meadowdale)
I would like to thank the officers and committee for their kind invitation to judge at this friendly and well-organised show. To all the exhibitors, it was a true honour to assess your wonderful dogs, with many decisions being closely contested. I thoroughly enjoyed my day—thank you. I would also like to thank my hard-working stewards, Julie & Ian, for keeping the day running smoothly.
This two-year-old grizzle bitch displays a keen, alert demeanour. Her head is feminine and well balanced, complemented by a lovely varminty expression. She has good width to the backskull, neat, small, well-placed ears, and dark, expressive eyes. Her neck is of pleasing length, leading to a well-let-down chest that is easy to span, with just the right spring of rib. She has moderate angulation fore and aft. Although her front action was not quite as tidy as the winner’s today, she showed excellent drive from the rear. Presented in a good jacket.
