Second Place in Puppy - Dog, Judge: Mrs M Fleming (Flegato)
A big thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge my favourite breed at their lovely friendly show and for the warm welcome, and to the Border Terrier Club for supporting the entry. I am also very grateful to the exhibitors who entered and let me go over their lovely dogs. Thank you also to the hardworking stewards. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and was very lucky to have the opportunity to go over some quality borders.
8 months old and only a baby, he has a moderately broad flat skull, powerful jaw and a kind keen eye. Correct bite. Straight front and easy to span. Correct double coat and thick loose pelt. Playful in this class like young puppies can be, he gave his handler a hard time and was a little difficult to assess on the move.
