First Place in Puppy - Dog, Judge: Mrs M Fleming (Flegato)
A big thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge my favourite breed at their lovely friendly show and for the warm welcome, and to the Border Terrier Club for supporting the entry. I am also very grateful to the exhibitors who entered and let me go over their lovely dogs. Thank you also to the hardworking stewards. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and was very lucky to have the opportunity to go over some quality borders.
11 months old dark grizzle dog. Typey head with a dark eye and keen expression, correct bite and good width of muzzle. Dark, set on well ears. Good length of rib and shape, straight narrow front. Correct double coat with the top coat of excellent harsh texture. Shown on a loose lead, he moved well around the ring. BPIB and pleased to watch him being awarded TPG2.
