Second Place in Veteran - Bitch, Judge: Mrs Anne Higham (Comberdown)
Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge the show and for your great hospitality. Thanks also to my stewarts on the day, Marina and Jane, who kept everything running smoothly and enabled me to finish judging in good time. I would also like to thank all the exhibitors for their entries.
Coats were at various stages on the day and I found one kinked tail and one mouth with misaligned teeth. I also noticed that a few of the exhibits had small teeth which we do not want to become the norm and should be discouraged.
Pleasing head with broad skull and dark eye. Good mouth with scissor bite. Level topline and tailset. Correct harsh coat and thick pelt. Preferred size of 1st. Moved ok.
