First Place in Junior - Bitch, Judge: Mrs Anne Higham (Comberdown)
Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge the show and for your great hospitality. Thanks also to my stewarts on the day, Marina and Jane, who kept everything running smoothly and enabled me to finish judging in good time. I would also like to thank all the exhibitors for their entries.
Coats were at various stages on the day and I found one kinked tail and one mouth with misaligned teeth. I also noticed that a few of the exhibits had small teeth which we do not want to become the norm and should be discouraged.
Feminine head. Dark eye with keen expression. Small neat ears, strength to muzzle and scissor bite. Good reach of neck flowing into well angulated shoulders, level topline with short carrot tail coming straight of back. Straight front with small feet and thick pads. Ribs carried well back and easily spanned with thick loose pelt. Tight coat coming through. Moved well with good reach and drive. Best Junior.
