The Border Terrier Club Open Show (18-10-2025)

First Place in Post Graduate - Dog, Judge: Mrs Anne Higham (Comberdown)

Show Critique:

Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge the show and for your great hospitality. Thanks also to my stewarts on the day, Marina and Jane, who kept everything running smoothly and enabled me to finish judging in good time. I would also like to thank all the exhibitors for their entries.
Coats were at various stages on the day and I found one kinked tail and one mouth with misaligned teeth. I also noticed that a few of the exhibits had small teeth which we do not want to become the norm and should be discouraged.

Placing Critique:

Two year old grizzle and tan. Up to size but presents a balanced picture. Masculine head with dark eye. Strength to muzzle and good scissor bite. Nice length of neck flowing into level topline and had correct tailset. Spannable. Nice for bone and small tight feet. In fit condition.
