First Place in Special Beginners - Dog, Judge: Mrs Anne Higham (Comberdown)
Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge the show and for your great hospitality. Thanks also to my stewarts on the day, Marina and Jane, who kept everything running smoothly and enabled me to finish judging in good time. I would also like to thank all the exhibitors for their entries.
Coats were at various stages on the day and I found one kinked tail and one mouth with misaligned teeth. I also noticed that a few of the exhibits had small teeth which we do not want to become the norm and should be discouraged.
Well presented masculine blue and tan. Broad skull with keen dark eye. Scissor bite and good strength to muzzle. Level topline and correct tail set. Good for bone and neat feet. Easily spanned. Moved well holding his topline. In fit condition.
