First Place in Veteran - Dog or Bitch, Judge: Glen Birrell
I would like to thank the Officers and Committee of The Terrier Club of Scotland and The Scottish Border Terrier Club for choosing me to judge this show a breed club supported show.
Also thank you to all the exhibitors for entering under me and allowing me to go over their exhibits.
Today I had some fine examples of the breed including some with previous top honour’s i really appreciated these exhibits being shown in an open show and they were shown to their best.
Some absences today and there were many hard decisions to be made for the placements in some classes. Mouths were good in all exhibits and there were no noticeable kinks in tails.
BV & BVS Grizzle & Tan 7 Year, Still strutting her stuff at 7 year old Excellent throughout great otter head nicely muscled correct bite, big teeth straight front neat feet with thick pads, moved true with a lovely top line and a coat of good texture and depth, stood well in the line up. delighted she was awarded Best Veteran.
