First Place in Open - Bitch, Judge: Glen Birrell
I would like to thank the Officers and Committee of The Terrier Club of Scotland and The Scottish Border Terrier Club for choosing me to judge this show a breed club supported show.
Also thank you to all the exhibitors for entering under me and allowing me to go over their exhibits.
Today I had some fine examples of the breed including some with previous top honour’s i really appreciated these exhibits being shown in an open show and they were shown to their best.
Some absences today and there were many hard decisions to be made for the placements in some classes. Mouths were good in all exhibits and there were no noticeable kinks in tails.
BB & BOB. Grizzle & Tan 2 Year. A very nice feminine bitch of good size an otter head of lovely proportions with a bite that was correct and good sized teeth, nice tail from a level top line, excellent coat neat feet with thick pads she was easily spannable not much not to like about this lovely bitch, every assessment of her and movement ticks the boxes of breed standard she moves effectively around the the ring and stands so well I was more than happy to award her BOB shortlisted in BIS
