Best of Breed, Best Puppy- (D) Typical otter head with strong, broad skull and short, powerful muzzle, showing keen expression. Dark eye and well-set, small V-shaped ears carried correctly. Good strength of jaw with correct bite. Neck of good length and strength, cleanly flowing into well-laid shoulders. Forequarters narrow and straight, body narrow throughout and easily spanned. Strong, short loin giving firmness and flexibility. Level topline flowing into well-developed hindquarters with good muscle and correct angulation, tail well set. Movement was sound and purposeful, showing good reach and drive with efficient, ground-covering action, maintaining balance and topline on the move.
