First Place in Puppy - Bitch, Judge: Libby Wain (Itsaso)
I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to Judge their open show, the hospitality was fantastic. I would also all the exhibitors who entered allowing me the pleasure of going over their dogs. My stewards done an amazing job keeping the ring flowing throughout the day. Overall the quality of the entry was good; however my one observation is that we are beginning to lose correct front movement, with wide fronts or flicking at the pasterns creeping in.
Another class of promising puppies who I am sure will change places and I will watch with interest.
Topping a lovely class she took my eye as she entered the ring for type and balance and did not disappoint when on the table. Typical head and expression with neat ears and dark eye. A strong jaw and correct bite. Her neck flowed into a well placed shoulder, straight front and neat feet. Well-laid back rib which was easily spanned. She used her rear angulation to move with drive around the ring holding her topline at all times. A proper showgirl presented in a correct harsh double jacket which won her the class today and ultimately BPIS
