First Place in Post Graduate, Judge: Sarah Pateman (Lessien)

Show Critique:

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the committee for inviting me to judge the Border Terriers at their show. Although the journey the preceding day was lengthy, it proved to be truly worthwhile. I was privileged to assess an outstanding entry of high-quality dogs and bitches, and I am grateful to all the exhibitors for affording me this opportunity. While the size of the ring presented some logistical challenges, the Border Terrier community adapted admirably and ensured the event ran smoothly. The committee demonstrated excellent attentiveness throughout, as did the two stewards who supported me during the show. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this event.

Placing Critique:

(Grizzle and Tan Dog) Impressed with his classic otter head, a correct bite, his keen, dark eye contributes to an alert and pleasing expression. The quality of his pelt is notable, being both thick and protective, and his harsh coat, his feet are small and tight, complemented by thick pads that provide stability and support. While on the move, he carried his tail well and maintained a firm topline, demonstrating balance and composure throughout. Nice to see this boy again!
