First Place in Open - Bitch, Judge: Miss Katie Hamilton (Cromlechs)
Firstly I would like to thank the Birmingham National Dog Show committee for inviting me to judge the Border Terriers for them. It was a great honour and I was so pleased to recieve a super entry and overall a lovely quality of exhibits to judge on the day. Special thanks also goes to my stewards that helped my day run so smoothly and efficiently.
Grizzle bitch with a super tight and harsh jacket. Absolutely beautiful show girl who is shown freely and with ease. She is not overdone in anyway and moves like a dream in such fit condition. She is of the correct size and well proportioned. Her dark eye gives her a super expression and has a strong muzzle with big teeth. Good reach of neck flowing onto a level topline and short carrot tail that is set on correctly. Her shoulder is correct with a straight front and neat feet. Ribs carried well back and a good length of loin. Racy and well angulated hindquarters with movement that is so true coming and going. It was a pleasure to award her the BCC.
