Yorkshire, Lancashire & Cheshire Border Terrier Club Open Show (03-05-2025)

First Place in Limit - Dog, Judge: Anne Speake

Show Critique:

I’d like to thank the officers and committee for their kind invitations to judge their breed clubs open show. The hospitality received was much appreciated and the day was one I enjoyed very much. Thank you to my two very efficient stewards Sian McKay and Margaret Davies who kept me on track and the ring running smoothly through out the day. My day was very rewarding seeing such quality dogs presented for me to judge, and in some classes especially LB and Veteran I would of liked more 1st places such was the quality of the exhibits.

Placing Critique:

mature 2 yr old dark grizzle who oozes breed type. I liked him a lot, strong masculine head dark eye and good ear set with the desired keen expression. Short strong muzzle, and lovely big white teeth. Built on good body lines. Standing and in profile he looks good. Has a good front and shoulders, with nice body length, strong top line and correct tail set and is easily spanned. With good angulations enabling him to move out with drive, keeping his top line on the move. BD and delighted to award him Best in Show
