First Place in Mid Limit - Dog, Judge: Miss Jean Singh (Vandamere)
It was a pleasure to judge at this show. The sun was shining on this first outdoor show of the year. Many thanks to my stewards Rob and Julie.
I found two youngsters with just level mouths, one exhibit had a misaligned lower tooth and two exhibits with light eyes. Front movement is still a problem, what I did find alarming were a number of exhibits with large, thick set heavy ears. Some exhibits were lacking in body condition and muscle tone.
Lovely outline both standing and on the move. Pleasing masculine head with neat ears. His expression was keen looking, eyes were dark with a good scissor bite and strong muzzle. He has a good reach of neck with a straight front and correct bone. His ribs are the correct shape and was easily spanned. He is well angulated, loin was strong and has nice racy lines. He was presented in good hard condition with second thigh evident. Coat was pin wire, pelt is pliable. His movement is true both ways and his handler brought out the best of him. DCC and BIS
