Thanks to NCSTA for their kind invitation to judge and to the NBTC for my nomination. Thanks also to my two stewards who kept everything running smoothly. Thanks as well to the exhibitors who gave me such a good entry. A lot of quality dogs to go over, it was a privilege to judge them all.
13 month old grizzle and tan. Nice well proportioned head, correct bite and lovely dark eye. Good narrow front, nice feet and ribbed well back. Nice rear angulation and tail carriage. Unfortunately he was badly spooked by a dog in the next ring which affected his movement. He did move more steadily when settled. Just lacked a little of the maturity of 1.
