My sincere thanks to the committee for the kind invitation to judge at this show, and to all the exhibitors who entered and braved the abysmal weather to attend. I appreciate the sporting manner in which my decisions were accepted.
At 9.5 years old, this grizzle bitch moved with impressive ease and soundness, belying her age. She has a dark, expressive eye, well-set ears, and a nicely shaped skull, giving a keen and alert expression. While her teeth show wear, her correct bite remains intact. She exhibits good angulation at both ends and a good rib-to-loin ratio. Her correct double coat and thick, loose pelt were the most impressive of the day
