First Place in Junior - Bitch, Judge: Amelie Smith (Alncroft)
Thank you very much to the WMTS society for inviting me to judge at their show once again. It was a pleasure officiating at such a well run show, organised by true terrier enthusiasts. I was very pleased with my entries for both Border and Jack Russell Terriers. I was very pleased with my principle winners. I would also like to extend my appreciation to the exhibitors for their entries.
Challenging class to judge as they were all very different in type.
Lovely head with correct proportions and good eye. Good length of neck flowing into a well laid shoulder. Good return of upper arm. Slightly longer in croup but has a good topline and underline. Well angulated hindquarters with well let down hocks, moved the best in the class with reach and drive. Easily spanned with loose pelt and a good harsh coat. Presented well.
