First Place in Limit - Bitch, Judge: Rachel Larner (Hawcoat)
Firstly I would like to apologise for the delay in this critique. I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge this show and all the members for entering and attending. I would also like to thank the stewards for the running of the ring.
I enjoyed going over all the dogs and found temperaments of all were good. Coats seemed to be a bit hit and miss today as it seemed a lot of people had taken them out after Crufts! Movement was generally good and I only found one bad mouth. I was extremely pleased with my overall winners and feel they are good examples of a Border Terrier.
Tough choice in this but I was pleased to award 1st to this bitch and Best in Show. Beautiful otter head with good strong, short muzzle with neat ear that were set correctly. Nice narrow front with good depth and length of rib. A well balanced bitch who moved with drive from front and rear. In top condition, with super coat and a lovely thick pelt. BB, BIS.
