First Place in Open, Judge: Mrs M Fleming (Flegato)
Thank you to the Committee for inviting me to judge at this very well run and friendly show. There could not have been a better first time appointment. Thank you to the ring stewards who organised the ring and paperwork in the most efficient manner and made it very easy for me. And finally, thank you to all the exhibitors who entered and who were able to come and bring their dogs – it was a privilege for me to go over them.
21 months old grizzle bitch who has type and quality and was a pleasure to go over scoring in size and balance. Feminine ottery head with flat moderately broad skull, strong short muzzle, powerful jaw and correct scissor bite. Dark eyes and neat well set ears. Narrow throughout, light framed with good rib and length of body, very easy to span. Well angulated front and rear, straight front legs, neat feet and racy well muscled hindquarters. Presented in full coat of good texture, thick loose pelt and plenty of undercoat. Moved around the ring freely, with purpose, keeping her outline. BOB and shortlisted in a large TG.
