First Place in Junior, Judge: Mrs M Fleming (Flegato)
Thank you to the Committee for inviting me to judge at this very well run and friendly show. There could not have been a better first time appointment. Thank you to the ring stewards who organised the ring and paperwork in the most efficient manner and made it very easy for me. And finally, thank you to all the exhibitors who entered and who were able to come and bring their dogs – it was a privilege for me to go over them.
16 months old typey bitch of a lovely size. Feminine head with a strong jaw and correct scissor bite. Dark eye with keen expression and neat ears. Good length of rib and easy to span. Level topline which she maintained on the move and well set tail, she went around the ring freely and showed herself off to the best. Striking in colour deep red undercoat and thick loose pelt but no top coat today.
