The Border Terrier Club Open Show (23-10-2010)

First Place in Junior - Bitch, Judge: Mrs. Barbara Roderick (Barterhound)

Show Critique:

My thanks go to my efficient stewards Eddie Houston and Mark Lowry and of course to the exhibitors for the sporting way in which they accepted my placings. I was pleased that mouths were good and only found one kinked tail. Feet on some exhibits were not very well padded, not sufficient in my view to do a day’s work. Most terriers were in good coat.

Placing Critique:

Litter sister to the Junior dog winner, and went on to beat him in the challenge for the best junior trophy. Another sound youngster moving out well to win this class. I liked her head and expression, in good coat with thick pelt. Nicely balanced with good underline. Well padded feet, good front and nice shaped tail. Most promising youngster I shall follow her fortunes with interest.
