First Place in Special Yearling, Judge: Anne Speake
I would like to thank the officers and committee for the kind invitation to judge some of the terrier breeds at this well run show, set in the beautiful setting of Dunster Castle. My thanks to my two excellent stewards Mel & Vera for keeping the ring running smoothly. A special thank you to all the exhibitors who gave me such a lovely quality entry of dogs over all the breeds to judge, making for some difficult decisions in some classes.
What a lovely class to start the day, some lovely youngsters who I’m sure will change places many times in the future
on entering the ring this 10mth old g/t bitch caught my eye, who very much appealed for size. Lovely feminine head, small neat ears and a keen dark eye. Good reach of neck and well placed shoulders, good length of rib, leading in to a level topline and short carroty tail well set on. In the best of coats, with a loose pliable pelt. Moved out with purpose, and covered the ground with ease. BPIB and delighted to see her take TPG1 later in the day
