First Place in Puppy, Judge: Libby Tanton-Joy (Itsaso)
Firstly I would like to say thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge the border terriers at this lovely show. Secondly I would like to say thank you for those who entered under me, although only a small number to go over I was pleased with the overall quality.
7 month old blue and tan bitch who looks to be a promising young puppy although raw today. Caught my eye on the go around with her sound movement and did not disappoint on the table. Pleasing in head with small ears and correct bite although would benefit from some time to develop further. Lovely shoulder which flowed into well laid back ribs and loin and was easily spanned. Level topline which she held on the move well and was finished off with a lovely short tail. Good rear angulation which allowed her to move with purpose both coming and going. Presented in a harsh jacket with ticking coming through. BP and RBOB
