My sincere thanks go to the exhibitors for firstly entering their dogs under me and then for showing them in such adverse weather conditions. Not only had they the extreme heat to contend with but also the small steeply inclined ring still full of sheep droppings as well. Proper Border country !.
8 month old Blue & Tan bitch. Another very promising youngster. Possesses a very feminine head, good in foreface with just the right amount of stop, appealing dark eye. Well set on ears, Correct straight front construction, with a good reach of neck set into laid back shoulders. Easily spanned. Narrow throughout. Good angulation both front and rear. Super coat and pelt. Although moved well both coming and coming could not quite match the confidence and exhuberance of the winner today, perhaps as a Blue & tan she was feeling the heat more ?
