First Place in Special Award Open Dog or Bitch, Judge: Lesley Armstrong-Rodgers (Atron)
Many thanks to the Officers and Committee for the kind invitation to judge the Memorial Special classes in memory of Jane O’Shea. It was held in conjunction with the East Anglia Border Terrier Championship Show of which she had been Vice Chairman. It was a privilege and honor to do so. A thank you also must go to my most capable stewards for their assistance on the day.
A lovely grizzle and tan dog who excels in such sound movement. So very typical and unexaggerated. Possesses a nice head with a keen dark eye, strong muzzle and good scissor bite. Correct shoulder placement. Owns the straightest of fronts with neat well padded feet. Spanned easily and has a good loose pelt. He has a well bent stifle and carroty tail, correctly set. Moved effortlessly with great reach and drive. Handled to advantage.
