The Terrier Club of Scotland Open Show (10-10-2021)

First Place in Junior - Dog, Judge: Anne Speake

Show Critique:

I’d like to extend my thanks to the society for their invitation to judge the border terriers at this friendly well run terrier show, to my efficient steward Elaine, who ensured things ran smoothly. To the exhibitors, it was a privilege to judge your dogs. Temperaments were excellent; all dogs were entire; and mouths were good.

Placing Critique:

Dark G/T dog , who very much appeals for size, with a lovely otter head and keen expression. Good in skull, little stop and dark eye. A moderate neck leading in to a well laid shoulder. With a lovely narrow front, and standing on neat feet. Good for bone, body and rib and easily spanned. Correct double jacket with a loose pliable pelt. Moved well fore and aft, keeping a good top line.
