First Place in Puppy - Dog, Judge: Mr R Wright (Borderexpress)
A big thank you the committee for the invite to judge the Border Terriers today, 2nd biggest entry of the day so a big thank you also for the exhibitors on the quality of the dogs for me to go over today. Also a big thank you to the East Anglia Border Terrier Club for the sponsorship of the classes on the day.
A lovely well run show with a great atmosphere and a great ending to the show when you get to see your Best of Breed/Best Puppy go on and get Best Puppy In show. Also a big thank you to my steward Mandy Holmes for keeping the dogs coming and going in correct order.
8 month old Dark Grizzle dog, a real showman throughout the day and looks the part on the move. Nice head that is maturing with age, dark eye and lovely big teeth. Narrow throughout from lovely shoulders through into a nice length of loin and tail set. Set down in a lovely condition with jacket/pelt the best on the day. My Best Of Breed today and lovely to see him go on and gat placed 4th in the Best in Show line up and then secure Best Puppy In Show. One to keep an eye on over the next 12 months as he develops and matures. (Best Dog & Best Of Breed)
