First Place in Open, Judge: Lois Wilson
Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge, and to the exhibitors who entered. My stewards did a great job. After 18 months I was doing what I so enjoy – getting hands onto dogs
19 mth Grizzle dog. Smart looking dog, active. Head Otter like, moderately broad skull. Short strong muzzle. Black nose. Dark eyes, keen expression. Ears small, V-shaped, dropping forward. Scissor bite. Moderate length of neck. Forelegs not too heavy in bone. Chest deep narrow and able to span. Strong loins, racy hindquarters. Small feet. Tail thick at base, set high, carried gaily but not curled over back. Sound movement. Coat harsh, dense, with close undercoat. Thick skin. Colour – Grizzle & tan. Full of Terrier attitude.
