First Place in Open - Dog, Judge: Mrs. Carolyn Richardson (Staynorwood)
I would like to thank Midland Border Terrier Club for inviting me to judge and to thank my Stewards Pete Armstrong and Sue Baxter. Unfortunately, the entry was somewhat reduced due to the awful storm conditions keeping many at home, but I was pleased with the quaity of dogs present for me to go over and very happy with my winners.
Stood alone in this class but was a worthy winner. Smart, showy young dog. Shown in fit condition. Strong head with neat ears. Strong jaw with correct bite. Nice reach of neck into good shoulders. Good length of rib. Strong loin and well angulated hocks. Correct harsh jacket and loose pelt. Tailset good. Moved well around the ring. BD, BOS
